My thoughts on faith, books, and life in general
For several years, they lived the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and ministered for six years as Associate for Wellness, Evangelism and New Members at North Richland Hills Baptist Church. At the end of 2011, that wonderful season of ministry ended when Matt, an Air Force Reservist for 6 years, deployed to Southwest Asia as a Chaplain for the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing. While there, he was recognized as the Air Forces Central Company Grade Command Chaplain of the Rotation (Jan-Jun 2012) . He was also selected for full-time active duty, and after returning to the States received an assignment to Vandenberg Air Force Base.
He has previously been involved in ministries as an intern at Lifepoint Church in Smyrna, TN and a member of the Liberty Link team at the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia Convention.
Matt’s passion in ministry is to impact the men and women, both in and out of uniform with the message of Christ and to help them grow and become mature Christ followers.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog, I welcome you to join me for the ride as I discuss faith, books, and life in general.
